Dewaco celebrates 40 years

Dewaco celebrated its 40th anniversary on 4 September 2026 at Kakolan Sali in Turku, Finland. The anniversary brought together Dewaco employees, reseller partners, suppliers and other partners from Finland and around the world to celebrate four decades of solving global water challenges.

The evening reflected something that has been essential to Dewaco throughout its history: strong partnerships. Guests included Dewaco’s own team, local suppliers and partners, reseller partners who had travelled to Finland from eleven countries, as well as representatives of Dewaco’s owner Indutrade and the company’s Board.

In his opening speech, Managing Director Riku Granberg highlighted the importance of the people and partnerships behind Dewaco’s success. He raised four toasts – to Dewaco’s own people, to the suppliers and partners supporting the company at home, to the reseller partners working with customers around the world, and to Dewaco’s owner and Board.

The anniversary was also an opportunity to recognize the remarkable commitment and experience within Dewaco.

During the evening, members of the Dewaco team were recognized for long careers with the company, marking milestones of 20, 25 and even 35 years at Dewaco.

Their experience and dedication are an important part of the knowledge behind Dewaco’s products and of the company’s ability to serve customers around the world.

Celebrating the past – looking to the future

While the evening celebrated 40 years of achievements, the focus was also firmly on what comes next.

“Water is becoming scarce, and what we used to call waste is becoming a resource,” Granberg said. “For a company like ours, that is not a threat – it is the biggest opportunity in our forty years.”

The anniversary celebration concluded a week that had begun with Dewaco Reseller Days, bringing the company and its international partners together to exchange ideas and discuss the future of the business and the water treatment industry.

Over the past four decades, Dewaco equipment has reached more than 90 countries across five continents. The technologies, markets and challenges may continue to change, but Dewaco’s purpose remains clear: to provide solutions for a cleaner future and help customers solve global water challenges.
